关于地图
Ar Rastan Map Poster & Print
Ar Rastan lies in the Homs Governorate of western Syria, on the main route between Homs and Hama. On a map the town appears as a compact grid of streets set on a plateau, with the Orontes river running below it through a valley that widens into a reservoir held back by a dam.
The site has ancient roots and is identified with Arethusa, a town known in the Hellenistic and Roman periods. Its position on the Orontes and along the north–south corridor of Syria has long made it a place where river and road meet.
An Ar Rastan map poster captures the town's grid, the curving line of the river and the irregular shape of the reservoir, along with the highway running past. It is a composition that reads clearly: settlement, water and route set against open land.
