关于地图
Beverley Map Poster & Print
Beverley is the county town of the East Riding of Yorkshire, and it has one of the most distinctive plans of any English market town. On a map the medieval core stretches north to south. At one end is Beverley Minster, and at the other is North Bar, a brick gateway that still stands across the road. St Mary's Church and the market places lie between them.
To the west is the Westwood, a large area of open common pasture where cattle still graze and where the racecourse is laid out. On the poster it appears as a broad empty space beside the dense town. To the east, Beverley Beck, a short canalised waterway, connects the town to the River Hull.
A Beverley map poster places the old town, the common and the waterway on one sheet. The winding streets of the centre contrast with the empty green ground of the Westwood. That balance of density and openness is uncommon, and it gives the town a strong, well-proportioned shape in black and white.

The Westwood
A large common pasture on the western edge. It includes the racecourse and appears on the map as a wide, open field against the tight lines of the town.
Beverley Beck
A short, straight canalised channel leads east from town to the River Hull. It is a trace of Beverley's past as a trading town reached by water.

为什么选 Beverley
一张有意义的地图
Beverley suits anyone who studied, married or grew up within sight of the Minster towers. The map's clear structure also makes it a good choice for someone who likes historic town plans.
Add your own title, subtitle and coordinates line to mark a wedding at the Minster or a first house near the Westwood. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Paper suits the old town well.
