Gurguéia River
The river winds through the valley beside the town. Its soft, irregular line contrasts with the straight streets and the geometry of the farms beyond.

关于地图
Bom Jesus Map Poster & Print
Bom Jesus lies in the far south of Piauí, in the valley of the Gurguéia River, where the land rises toward high, flat cerrado plateaus. On a map the town forms a regular grid of blocks near the river, a clear urban shape surrounded by open land. Roads lead up onto the plateau and out across the region.
In recent decades the plateaus around Bom Jesus have become part of one of Brazil's agricultural frontiers, with large farms growing soybeans, maize and cotton. The change is visible from above in huge rectangular fields. Their straight edges contrast with the winding course of the Gurguéia and the native vegetation that remains along the valley.
The town is also a regional centre for education, with a campus of the Federal University of Piauí focused on agricultural sciences. A Bom Jesus map poster brings these layers together: the river valley, the orderly town grid and the vast, geometric farmland that now defines the plateau above.

Town grid
Bom Jesus is laid out in regular rectangular blocks, a classic pattern for towns in Brazil's interior. It reads cleanly at every print size.
Plateau farmland
Above the valley, large mechanised farms divide the cerrado into immense rectangles. At wider framings they form a striking, almost abstract pattern.

为什么选 Bom Jesus
一张有意义的地图
Bom Jesus draws students, agronomists and families from across Brazil, and many of them stay for years. A map of the town is a thoughtful way to remember that time in southern Piauí, or to mark a place that is still growing.
Set your own title and subtitle, keep the coordinates line, and choose a style from Classic black & white to Blueprint. The $9 download includes six sizes as 300 DPI PNG and PDF, and printed posters can be framed in wood.
