Checkerboard blocks
Square blocks of equal size run in every direction from the plaza. This is the Spanish colonial grid applied with Pampas precision on land with no hills to bend it.

关于地图
Bragado Map Poster & Print
Bragado is a classic town of the Buenos Aires Pampas, built on almost perfectly flat ground. From above it is a regular checkerboard of square blocks around a central plaza. The grid fades gradually into straight country roads that divide the farmland into large rectangles. The lagoon on the edge of town, Laguna de Bragado, is the one soft shape in an otherwise geometric landscape.
The town's name comes from a local legend about a wild horse with distinctive markings that refused to be captured. Horses remain central to local identity, and Bragado hosts a national horse festival. The surrounding land is some of Argentina's most productive agricultural country, planted with grain and grazed by cattle.
A Bragado map poster shows how clear the Pampas plan is: square blocks, diagonal-free streets, a railway line crossing the grid and the lagoon's rounded outline beside it. Few landscapes produce such a disciplined drawing, and it holds up well both in small and large formats.

Laguna de Bragado
The broad lagoon beside the town has a soft, irregular shoreline. It stands out as the one natural curve in a map made almost entirely of straight lines.
Rural road lattice
Outside town, long straight roads divide the farmland into huge rectangles. Seen from above, they continue the town's grid across the open plain.

为什么选 Bragado
一张有意义的地图
The map suits people who grew up on the Pampas or have family estancias nearby, and anyone drawn to strict geometry. The grid and the lagoon together make an unusually balanced composition for a wall.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates, for example with a family name or the year someone left for the city. Choose Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand to match the interior.
