Medieval old town
The historic core forms a compact oval of winding lanes, its outline still following the course of the old town wall and clearly visible at the centre of the map.

关于地图
Butzbach Map Poster & Print
Butzbach lies in the Wetterau, north of Frankfurt, at the edge of the Taunus hills. The map shows a classic historic town: an oval old town of narrow, irregular lanes, still partly enclosed by the line of its medieval walls, with a ring of later streets and newer districts spreading outward over the gently rolling countryside.
At the centre of the old town is a market square lined with half-timbered houses, often counted among the finest in Hesse. The course of the Roman Limes, the fortified frontier of the empire, runs through the hills nearby. Butzbach is also a railway junction on the line between Frankfurt and Giessen.
A Butzbach map poster contrasts the tight, organic pattern of the medieval core with the wider streets that grew around it. The oval old town reads clearly at the centre of the print, like the heart of a tree trunk. It is a strong choice for anyone who likes historic German town plans.

Market square
The half-timbered market square sits at the heart of the old town, a small open space where several of the medieval lanes meet.
Rail and ring roads
The Frankfurt–Giessen railway and the roads around the old centre form longer, straighter lines that mark the town's later growth outward.

为什么选 Butzbach
一张有意义的地图
Butzbach's plan is easy to read and recognise, which makes it a satisfying map to live with. It suits residents, commuters who settled here from Frankfurt, and anyone who grew up among the half-timbered houses of the Wetterau.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, perhaps with a wedding date or the name of your street, and choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Paper suits the medieval plan especially well.
