关于地图
Choornikkara Map Poster & Print
Choornikkara lies in Ernakulam district in central Kerala, close to Aluva and within the wider urban region around Kochi. Like much of this part of the state, it has no sharp line between town and country. From above, houses are spread among coconut palms and garden plots, linked by a network of winding lanes that follow the land rather than any grid.
Water is always close. The Periyar, Kerala's longest river, flows near Aluva, and small canals, ponds and paddy fields appear throughout the area. Busy main roads and the railway pass nearby, connecting the quieter lanes to the industrial and commercial areas of greater Kochi.
A Choornikkara map poster shows this blend in fine detail: a web of curving lanes, a few strong routes crossing through, and water feeding into the pattern. In black and white, the map becomes an intricate, almost organic drawing. It works well for people from the area who want something more personal than a map of the city.
