Pampas grid
The town is built on a strict grid of square blocks. It gives the poster an almost architectural regularity that looks striking in black and white.

关于地图
Coronel Pringles Map Poster & Print
Coronel Pringles is a town in the south-west of Buenos Aires province, Argentina, in the flat farmland of the pampas. Like many towns founded on the plains in the late nineteenth century, it was laid out on a regular grid. Square blocks surround a central plaza, and wider avenues mark the edges of the original plan.
The town is also known for the work of architect Francisco Salamone, who designed striking Art Deco public buildings across the province in the 1930s. In Coronel Pringles, his municipal palace with its tall tower faces the main plaza. On the map, the plaza is the fixed point everything else is measured from.
A Coronel Pringles map poster shows that grid at its clearest, with orderly blocks, a central square and straight rural roads heading out towards the horizon. For people from the town, and for admirers of Salamone's architecture, it makes a crisp, graphic piece.

Central plaza
The main square sits at the heart of the grid, with Salamone's municipal palace facing it. It is the natural focal point of the design.
Rural roads
Beyond the town, straight roads and field boundaries run out across the plains. They echo the grid at a much larger scale.

为什么选 Coronel Pringles
一张有意义的地图
For families from Coronel Pringles, the grid holds the plaza, the school and the house on a particular corner. For architecture lovers, it ties Salamone's work to the town he helped shape.
