Chambal ravines
South of the town, deep gullies carved into soft soil form a dense branching pattern along the river. It is one of the most distinctive landscapes in northern India.

关于地图
Dhaulpur Map Poster & Print
Dhaulpur lies at the eastern edge of Rajasthan, close to where the state meets Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. The Chambal River passes south of the town, and its well-known badlands cut the land into a dense maze of gullies and ravines. On a map the town looks compact and irregular, with the ravine country close by on its southern side.
The main road between Agra and Gwalior runs through the town, and the railway follows a similar route, so two strong lines cross the composition. Inside the town the older streets are narrow and irregular, while newer areas spread outward in a looser pattern. Water tanks and palace grounds break up the built-up area.
Dhaulpur is known across India for its red sandstone, quarried nearby and used in many important buildings, including parts of New Delhi. A Dhaulpur map poster pairs the close-knit texture of the town with the wild, branching forms of the Chambal ravines, whose gullies look almost like the veins of a leaf.

Agra–Gwalior corridor
The national highway and the railway pass through Dhaulpur between two historic cities. They draw firm lines through the town's otherwise irregular streets.
Old town lanes
The oldest part of the town is a tight weave of narrow streets and small squares. On the map it appears as a fine, dense texture.

为什么选 Dhaulpur
一张有意义的地图
People from Dhaulpur often have a strong sense of place, tied to the river, the stone and the old princely state. A map poster can hold that feeling with a title in your own words, a subtitle such as a family name, and the coordinates line.
Sand and Paper echo the warm colour of Dhaulpur stone, while Classic black & white, Noir and Blueprint show the ravines in sharper contrast. The digital files cost $9, and printed posters ship from partners in more than thirty countries.
