Planned street grid
Straight streets and rectangular blocks form a regular pattern in the centre, a direct legacy of the agricultural colony from which the town developed in the mid-twentieth century.

关于地图
Fátima do Sul Map Poster & Print
Fátima do Sul lies in the south of Mato Grosso do Sul, in farming country east of Dourados. The town grew out of the Colônia Agrícola Nacional de Dourados, a federal settlement scheme of the 1940s that divided this region into smallholdings for migrant farmers. That planned origin can still be read in its layout.
On a Fátima do Sul map poster the town appears as an orderly grid of straight streets and rectangular blocks, with a few wider avenues marking the main axes. Around it, rural roads run in long straight lines that echo the original settlement plan. The Dourados River follows a winding, irregular course nearby.
That contrast between geometry and nature gives the map a clean, balanced look. The river and its wooded banks provide the only major curves, and they set off the rigid pattern of the town and the fields. It is a portrait of a place built by design on open land, within living memory of its first settlers.

Dourados River
The river winds past the town through a band of riverside vegetation. It is the most organic line on the poster and softens the strict geometry of the grid.
Colony roads
Beyond the edge of town, rural roads run in long, straight lines across the plain, echoing the original division of the land into family plots for the settlers.

一张有意义的地图
Families descended from the colony's settlers often feel a strong tie to this town and its orderly streets. A map poster makes that heritage visible, turning the plan their grandparents lived in into a clean graphic for a living room or office.
Personalise the title, add a subtitle such as a founding year or a family name, and choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Download the $9 high-resolution files or order a printed poster on matte paper, framed if you like.
