关于地图
Franca Map Poster & Print
Franca sits on high, rolling land in the far north of São Paulo state, near the border with Minas Gerais. The street plan follows the terrain. The historic centre forms a compact grid on higher ground, while neighbourhoods spread across the surrounding hills and dip into the valleys of small streams.
The city is best known as a national centre of men's shoe manufacturing, with many factories, workshops and leather businesses. It also has a strong basketball tradition, and its teams have won national championships over several decades.
A Franca map poster shows a regular old core around the main church square, surrounded by newer residential districts in shifting blocks that follow the hills. Green strips along watercourses run between the neighbourhoods, and farmland starts right at the edge of the city.

Hillside districts
Newer neighbourhoods spread over the surrounding hills, with blocks at shifting angles. From above they look like pieces of a grid tilted in different directions.
Stream valleys
Small watercourses run through the city in green strips. They separate the districts and add soft, curving lines to the geometric street pattern.

为什么选 Franca
一张有意义的地图
In Franca, family history often involves a shoe factory, a workshop or the basketball court. A map of the city's hills and streets turns those connections into something simple and personal to hang at home.
Put the name of a family business or a year in the title, and use the subtitle and coordinates for a specific neighbourhood. Sand and Paper suit a city known for leather, and the other three styles are also available.
