关于地图
Fuki Map Poster & Print
Fuki lies in the Nara Basin in western Nara Prefecture, the flat, enclosed plain where some of Japan's earliest capitals were built more than a thousand years ago. The land here is low and level, and hills rise along the western edge of the basin towards the border with Osaka.
From above, the area shows the typical texture of the basin's suburbs. Narrow residential lanes twist between houses, small blocks of rice fields and orchards still fill some of the gaps, and railway lines and main roads cut across in longer, straighter strokes. Irrigation ponds, common across the Nara Basin, appear as small, smooth shapes among the plots.
A Fuki map poster is an intimate, finely detailed drawing. Because the plots and lanes are so small, the map fills with a dense, even pattern of lines that looks almost woven. It suits anyone with a connection to this part of Nara.

Fields and ponds
Pockets of farmland and small irrigation ponds break up the housing. They add quieter shapes and open spaces to the pattern.
Rail and road lines
Railway tracks and main roads cut across the basin in longer, straighter lines, giving structure to the finely divided land around them.

为什么选 Fuki
一张有意义的地图
For people who lived near here, studied here or have family in Nara, a map of this corner of the basin captures everyday streets and fields that rarely appear in guidebooks.
Personalise the title and subtitle, perhaps in romanised or English form, and set the coordinates line. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand.
