关于地图
Gbongan Map Poster & Print
Gbongan is a town in Osun State in southwestern Nigeria, in the heart of Yoruba country. On a map, it takes the shape of a junction town. Roads meet near the centre, one leading toward Ibadan and another toward Ife and Ilesa, while a third branches off toward Osogbo. The oldest part of the town forms a dense cluster of lanes around the market and the traditional ruler's palace.
The surrounding area is agricultural, with farms and patches of forest spreading out in every direction. Because the town sits on important routes, it has grown steadily along its roads, with newer houses and businesses stretching out from the centre.
A Gbongan map poster shows how a traditional Yoruba town grows. The compact old core sits at the centre, the main roads extend outward like arms, and the development along them gradually thins into farmland. It is a clear, honest composition that shows both the town's roots and its connections to the wider region.

Old town core
The oldest quarter forms a dense tangle of lanes around the market and palace, the most intricate part of the composition.
Growth along roads
New buildings follow the main routes out of town, so the built-up area stretches along the roads before it gives way to farmland.

为什么选 Gbongan
一张有意义的地图
For families from Gbongan and the wider Osun community, a map of the hometown is a meaningful keepsake, especially for those living far away in Lagos or abroad.
Add a family name, a date or the coordinates line, and choose one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Paper and Sand bring warmth, while Noir gives a bold contrast.
