Sakarya River
The river runs through the middle of the map in broad curves. Everything else in the valley, from roads to houses, is aligned with it.

关于地图
Geyve Map Poster & Print
Geyve lies in Sakarya Province in northwestern Turkey, where the Sakarya River runs between wooded hills on its way to the Black Sea. From above, the town sits in the valley near the point where it narrows. The river, main road and railway all pass through the same tight corridor and give the map a strong, shared direction.
The Geyve gorge has long been an important passage between the Marmara region and the Anatolian interior, and the main railway between Istanbul and Ankara follows the valley. Around the town the land is fertile, with orchards and farmland on the lower slopes and forest on the higher ground.
A Geyve map poster shows how a route shapes a town. The river curves through the centre of the sheet, the transport lines run beside it, and the streets spread out wherever the valley widens. It is a clear, dynamic composition, especially in styles with strong contrast.

The narrow gorge
Near the town the valley narrows, and river, road and railway pass through side by side. On the map this appears as a tight bundle of parallel lines.
Valley-floor town
The town's streets occupy the flatter land by the river and rise a little way up the slopes, fading into farmland and wooded hills beyond.
