关于地图
Golborne Map Poster & Print
Golborne lies in the Metropolitan Borough of Wigan, in the part of old Lancashire between Wigan, Leigh and Warrington. From above it is a compact English town with terraced streets, later housing estates and a main road through the centre. Open farmland and traces of the mining landscape press close on several sides.
The West Coast Main Line runs north to south through the town. This straight rail corridor divides the street plan and can be crossed at only a few points. Golborne once had its own station on the line, which closed in the 1960s, and reopening it has been discussed for years.
Coal mining shaped the town for generations, and the colliery that once operated here is still part of local memory. Today housing, green space and reclaimed land mix at the town's edges. A Golborne map poster records that layered pattern at a scale where both the individual streets and the rail line are easy to follow.

Terraced street grid
Near the centre, rows of narrow parallel streets reflect the town's industrial-era housing. They give the poster a fine, regular texture of closely packed lines.
Green edges
Fields, open space and former industrial land surround the town. Toward Lowton and beyond, the drawing thins from dense streets into a sparser rural pattern.

为什么选 Golborne
一张有意义的地图
Golborne maps tend to go to people who grew up in the town, to families with mining roots, or to someone moving away who wants a record of streets they know. The black-and-white drawing fits easily into a modern home.
You can change the title, subtitle and coordinates line to add a street name, a surname or a date. Five styles are available: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Buy the HD files for $9 or order a printed poster.
