The Promenade
The village's main street is mostly closed to traffic. It is a short, clearly defined axis lined with chalet-style buildings.

关于地图
Gstaad Map Poster & Print
Gstaad lies in the Saanenland, in the south-western Bernese Oberland, on the floor of a green Alpine valley. On the map it is small and loosely drawn. A handful of streets gather into a village centre, and roads and lanes spread along the valley and up the lower slopes, where chalets sit among pastures. Streams run down from the mountains and join in the valley.
The heart of the village is the Promenade, a largely car-free street of shops, hotels and wooden buildings. Local building rules have kept Gstaad in the chalet style for decades, so even its newer houses follow the traditional shape. That consistency shows from above as a pattern of small, evenly spaced footprints.
Gstaad is known as a winter resort, linked to several ski areas in the surrounding mountains, and as a summer destination for music. The Menuhin Festival, founded by the violinist Yehudi Menuhin in 1957, is held in the region's churches and a large festival tent. A Gstaad map poster captures a mountain village in outline: modest, open and framed by the valley.

Valley floor
Gstaad sits on flat ground between rising slopes. Roads follow the valley and branch off towards neighbouring villages and ski areas.
Scattered chalets
Beyond the centre, houses are spread across meadows and hillsides. On the map they appear as small, separate footprints rather than dense blocks.

为什么选 Gstaad
一张有意义的地图
Gstaad is often tied to family winters, a first ski season or a summer of concerts. A map of the valley brings back the place and the calm that comes with it.
Set the title and subtitle, for example with a season, a year or a chalet name, and adjust the coordinates if you like. Choose Paper or Sand for a warm, wooden feel, or Classic black & white for a crisp winter look. Five styles are available.
