Railway spine
The rail line cuts through the city and separates older quarters from newer ones. It is one of the few long, straight features on an otherwise intricate map.

关于地图
Guntur Map Poster & Print
Guntur lies on the flat, fertile plains of coastal Andhra Pradesh, a short distance south of the Krishna River. The city has no coastline or hills to frame it, so its map is shaped by roads and railways. A crowded older centre gives way to newer residential layouts in every direction, and main roads lead out towards Vijayawada, the coast and the rural districts.
The railway runs through the city and divides it into distinct halves. Around it the street pattern changes from tight, irregular lanes to looser, more gridded blocks. Irrigation canals from the Krishna system cross the surrounding farmland, and their lines are faintly visible at the edges of the city.
Guntur is best known for chillies. Its market yard is one of the largest chilli trading centres in Asia, and the name is linked with the spice across India. The city also lies close to Amaravati, the planned capital of the state. A Guntur map poster shows a dense market town set in wide agricultural country.

Dense old centre
Narrow lanes and closely packed blocks mark the historic trading core. On a black-and-white print they read as a darker, heavily textured patch.
Delta farmland
Canals and field roads on the Krishna plain surround the city. The built-up area has a soft edge where it fades into the agricultural landscape.

为什么选 Guntur
一张有意义的地图
Guntur is a city many people leave for study or work and still call home. A map of its streets keeps the market roads, the railway crossing and the old neighbourhoods in view, far from where they are now.
You can change the title and subtitle, for example to a family name or the year you left, and set the coordinates line. Five styles are available: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand.
