Village-sized town
Haßloch's street network is the size of a town but still centres on its historic village core. On the poster, this gives the map a compact, rounded form.

关于地图
Haßloch Map Poster & Print
Haßloch lies in the Upper Rhine Plain in Rhineland-Palatinate, between Neustadt an der Weinstraße and Speyer. With more than twenty thousand residents, it is often described as one of the largest villages in Germany, as it has never taken the title of a town. From above, it does not look like a small village. The street network is broad and dense, spreading evenly across the flat land.
Haßloch is known nationally for two very different things. It is home to the Holiday Park amusement park, and for decades it was used as a test market, with its population's shopping habits considered representative of Germany as a whole. The surrounding landscape is mostly farmland and forest, and the Palatinate hills rise to the west.
A Haßloch map poster shows a large, rounded settlement with a clear old core and streets branching outward in all directions. Forest and fields form a soft edge around it. The result is a balanced and slightly unusual shape: a village that grew to the size of a town but kept its own layout.

Holiday Park grounds
The amusement park sits at the edge of the settlement. It appears as a distinct area with its own internal paths, set apart from the residential streets.
Rhine plain setting
The land around Haßloch is flat, with fields and forest in every direction. That lets the street pattern spread evenly, without hills or rivers breaking it up.

为什么选 Haßloch
一张有意义的地图
People from Haßloch often like to point out that they live in a village, not a town. The map celebrates that local character and suits anyone with roots in the Palatinate.
