Village clusters
The town is made up of several historic villages, each visible on the map as its own knot of streets surrounded by fields, rather than one continuous built-up area.

关于地图
Hemmingen Map Poster & Print
Hemmingen lies just south of Hanover, and on a map it reads as a group of separate settlements rather than one compact town. Several former villages, each with its own small core, sit among farmland and are joined by country roads, with the dense urban fabric of Hanover pressing in from the north.
To the east, the land drops toward the floodplain of the river Leine, a broad band of meadows, streams and woodland that stays largely free of building. That green margin gives Hemmingen a clear edge and separates it from the neighbouring towns on the far bank.
A Hemmingen map poster shows the in-between character of the place well: suburban streets and terraced housing on one side, open fields and water meadows on the other, and the city grid of Hanover beginning at the top of the frame. It is a map about the point where a city gives way to countryside.

Leine floodplain
East of the town, the Leine valley forms a wide belt of meadows, channels and trees that remains open ground and draws a soft natural boundary on the page.
Hanover's edge
To the north the pattern tightens abruptly into the streets of Hanover, making the transition from city to rural suburb unusually easy to see from above.

为什么选 Hemmingen
一张有意义的地图
Hemmingen is home to many people who work in Hanover but want space and fields nearby. A poster of it marks that choice, and the scattered village shapes make a composition with plenty of air.
Add a title, subtitle and coordinates of your own, choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, and download the HD files for $9 or order a printed poster from a partner close to you.
