关于地图
Hitoto Map Poster & Print
Hitoto is in Ishikawa Prefecture, on the Noto Peninsula, which stretches north into the Sea of Japan. The countryside here is gentle. Low, forested hills are separated by valleys of flat rice paddies, and the settlements follow the valley roads instead of forming dense towns.
From above, the pattern is simple and clear. Narrow roads curve along the lines of the hills, small clusters of houses sit at their edges, and the paddies show as fine rectangular divisions on the flat ground. In black and white, the wooded slopes become areas of calm white space, crossed only by a few winding lines.
The Noto Peninsula is known for its rural landscape, terraced rice fields and traditional coastal and farming life. A Hitoto map poster presents this quiet part of Ishikawa in the same careful line work as any major city, with the fields and hills as the main subjects.

Hill-following roads
Roads curve around the wooded slopes rather than crossing them. They draw soft lines through open parts of the composition.
Scattered clusters
Houses gather in small groups along the valleys instead of in a single centre. The result is a gentle, spread-out map.
