Water channels
Irrigation streams run across the Azumino plain. Their parallel and branching lines add a fine, flowing pattern across the whole poster.

关于地图
Hotaka Map Poster & Print
Hotaka lies in the Azumino basin in Nagano Prefecture, and it is now part of the city of Azumino. The map shows a scattered pattern of streets and settlements across a flat, cultivated plain, with the steep slopes of the Northern Alps rising sharply to the west.
The area is known for its clear spring water. Streams and irrigation channels cross the fields, and the Daiō Wasabi Farm, one of Japan's largest wasabi farms, is a popular destination. Hotaka Shrine, dedicated to a deity of the Alps, sits near the station at the centre of town.
A Hotaka map poster captures a landscape shaped by water and mountains. The fine lines of the channels, the fields and the scattered roads create a delicate, open texture, while the edge of the mountains gives the composition weight on one side. It is a quiet, subtle map that suits a calm interior.

Station and shrine
The area around Hotaka Station and the shrine forms the densest cluster of streets. It anchors the otherwise open composition.
Alpine edge
To the west, the road network stops where the Northern Alps begin, and the sudden emptiness marks the mountain wall clearly.

为什么选 Hotaka
一张有意义的地图
Hotaka draws hikers, cyclists and people looking for quiet countryside at the foot of the Alps. A map of it is a reminder of clean water, mountain views and slow days. It suits people who have climbed from here or lived in the valley.
Add your own title, subtitle and coordinates, and choose a style: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Paper suits the rural texture especially well. HD files cost $9 and come without a watermark in six sizes. Prints ship from partners in more than 30 countries.
