Koodalmanikyam precinct
The temple compound and its tanks form the most geometric element on the map, a crisp rectangle of water and walls at the centre of the town's street pattern.

关于地图
Irinjālakuda Map Poster & Print
Irinjālakuda is a town in the Thrissur district of central Kerala. From above its centre is easy to find. The Koodalmanikyam Temple and its large rectangular tanks form a strong geometric block, and the surrounding streets arrange themselves around this sacred precinct.
Koodalmanikyam is unusual because it's dedicated to Bharata, the brother of Rama, which makes it one of very few such temples in India. The town is also a long-established educational centre, home to Christ College. Beyond the core, roads thread through dense coconut groves, paddy land and scattered houses in the typical Kerala pattern.
An Irinjālakuda map poster brings out the contrast between the formal temple complex and the organic town around it. The tanks read as bold, clean shapes, while the lanes further out loosen into a delicate, irregular web. It's a fine choice for anyone whose family history runs through this part of Thrissur.

Temple-town layout
Streets near the shrine run in relation to it, so the town's core looks gathered around a single point instead of following a planned grid.
Green periphery
Beyond the centre the map dissolves into small roads and scattered houses among groves and paddy land, the dispersed settlement pattern of lowland Kerala.

为什么选 Irinjālakuda
一张有意义的地图
For Malayalis at home and abroad, Irinjālakuda often means festivals, college years or family ties. A clean map of the town keeps those associations without being sentimental, and it sits naturally in a modern interior.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can be personalised. Choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Paper and Sand suit the warmth of Kerala especially well.
