关于地图
Jāmadoba Map Poster & Print
Jāmadoba lies in the Dhanbad district of Jharkhand, in the Jharia coalfield, one of India's most important coal-mining areas. From above, it looks less like a single town than a set of settlements, colliery sites and industrial areas linked by roads across uneven, heavily worked land.
The township grew around mining, and much of its layout reflects that: company housing arranged in planned rows, open areas around mine sites and roads that follow the needs of industry rather than a traditional town plan. Water bodies and green patches break up the built-up areas between them.
A Jāmadoba map poster shows a landscape shaped by work. It is not a picturesque place in the usual sense, but its map has a distinctive character, and for families who lived and worked in the coalfield it holds real meaning.

Colliery sites
Open areas linked to mining break up the street pattern, producing large, irregular gaps that give the map its unusual texture.
Connecting roads
Roads link the separate settlements and work sites across the coalfield, forming a loose network rather than a single centre.

为什么选 Jāmadoba
一张有意义的地图
Many people grew up in the coalfield colonies around Dhanbad and later moved away. A map of Jāmadoba is a way to keep hold of that place: the colony, the school and the roads walked every day.
Put a family name or years of residence in the title and subtitle, keep the coordinates, and choose Classic, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Buy the HD files for $9, or order a printed poster from a nearby print partner.
