关于地图
Jianguang Map Poster & Print
Jianguang lies in Jiangxi province, in the lowlands south of Nanchang, where the Gan River system spreads across a broad agricultural plain. On a map, the town is a dense cluster of streets surrounded by a fine pattern of fields, irrigation channels and small ponds that fill the landscape around it.
The streets show the usual mix for a growing Chinese town: an older, tighter core and newer, wider roads laid out in straighter blocks at the edges. Main roads run out toward neighbouring towns and villages, and small settlements dot the farmland between them.
A Jianguang map poster is less about landmarks than about texture: the contrast between a built-up core and the watery, patchwork countryside of the Gan basin. In black and white, the ponds and channels turn into a delicate pattern that frames the town.

Ponds and channels
The surrounding plain is dotted with small water bodies and irrigation lines typical of central Jiangxi, which gives the map a fine, scattered texture.
Roads outward
Main roads leave the town in several directions toward nearby settlements, sketching a simple star-shaped network across the lowland.

为什么选 Jianguang
一张有意义的地图
A map of Jianguang is a personal object for people who grew up there or whose families farmed the surrounding plain. Its quiet pattern of streets and water makes a restrained print that fits a modern interior.
