Village-scale lanes
Clusters of short, winding streets preserve the footprint of the original settlement, standing out against the more regular blocks that grew up around them in recent decades.

关于地图
Jidd Ḩafş Map Poster & Print
Jidd Ḩafş lies on the north coast of Bahrain Island, just west of central Manama, and on a map there is no clear line where one ends and the other begins. What was once a separate village surrounded by date gardens is now part of a continuous urban fabric, with tightly packed blocks and a web of short streets.
Look closely and the older pattern still shows through. Narrow, irregular lanes mark the historic village cores, while the newer districts around them are laid out on straighter lines with larger plots. Major roads slice through the area and tie it to the capital and to the rest of the island.
A Jidd Ḩafş map poster is less about landmarks and more about texture: the grain of a neighbourhood that has grown steadily over decades. Printed in fine black lines, the density itself becomes the image, a pattern that residents can read street by street and that newcomers find surprisingly intricate.

Link to Manama
Arterial roads run east into the capital without interruption, making the poster a view of how Bahrain's northern towns have merged into one metropolitan area.
Former garden land
Areas that were once palm groves and farm plots have gradually filled with housing, and the map records this in the mix of wide parcels and newer, denser street grids.
