关于地图
Jietou Map Poster & Print
Jietou lies in western Yunnan, in the Tengchong area not far from the border with Myanmar. The town sits on a broad valley floor, and from above its streets form a small, dense cluster surrounded by open farmland. To the east the ground rises steeply toward the Gaoligong Mountains, one of the great north–south ranges of this part of Asia.
The flat valley is divided into many small fields, laced with irrigation channels and farm roads. In early spring these fields are widely known for rapeseed in bloom, which draws visitors to the area. On the map, the difference between the level basin and the surrounding slopes is striking: straight, fine lines on the floor, and curving tracks as the land climbs.
A Jietou map poster captures a very particular landscape, a settled valley enclosed by high country. The town itself is modest, but set within its basin it forms a composition with a clear centre and strong edges, the kind of balance that suits a minimalist print hung in a calm room.

Gaoligong edge
East of the valley the Gaoligong range rises steeply, and roads there wind and switch back, making the edge of the map busier and more fluid.
Compact town centre
Jietou's streets gather into a small, tight core on the valley floor, a darker cluster of lines at the centre of an otherwise open landscape.

为什么选 Jietou
一张有意义的地图
Travellers who have crossed western Yunnan in spring often remember the Jietou valley long after, and families from the area carry it with them wherever they go. A map lets you keep it, with a personal title, a subtitle for a date, and a coordinates line.
Paper and Sand suit the pastoral character of the valley, and Blueprint draws out the network of field channels. HD files cost $9 and include six sizes as 300 DPI PNG and print-ready PDF, and printed posters ship from partners in over 30 countries.
