关于地图
Kafrul Map Poster & Print
Kafrul is a thana in north-central Dhaka, and on a map it sits along one of the city's most striking boundaries. To one side lies the Dhaka Cantonment, with its wide roads, open fields and sparse buildings; to the other, some of the densest residential neighbourhoods in the capital, with narrow lanes branching in every direction.
The contrast is what defines the district from above. Blocks in Kafrul are small and tightly packed, streets bend and fork, and a few main roads carry heavy traffic between Mirpur and other parts of the city. Pockets of water and open ground are rare, which makes the few that remain stand out clearly in a black and white rendering.
A Kafrul map poster shows Dhaka at close range: the intensity of everyday streets, the edge where the city meets a very different kind of space, and the arteries that tie them together. It is a precise, personal map for residents and former residents, and a strong graphic image for anyone interested in how megacities take shape.

Narrow lane network
Small streets and alleys branch irregularly through the residential areas, creating an intricate texture that fills most of the district.
Arterial roads
A few main roads cut through the fine grain, linking Kafrul with Mirpur and central Dhaka and giving the composition its principal lines.

为什么选 Kafrul
一张有意义的地图
Kafrul is the kind of place that only its residents know in detail: the shortcut through a lane, the shop on the corner, the road to school. A map preserves that knowledge with quiet precision, wherever it ends up hanging.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line with an area name, an address or a year, then choose from five styles: Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Buy the $9 HD files in six sizes or order a matte printed poster.
