Branching lanes
Narrow roads divide and rejoin between house plots. This intricate network reflects how settlement in coastal Kerala spreads continuously along the roads.

关于地图
Kalleribhāgam Map Poster & Print
Kalleribhāgam lies in the coastal lowlands of southern Kerala, a few kilometres inland from the Arabian Sea. Like much of this part of the state, it is less a compact town than a continuous spread of homes and gardens. On the map its streets form a loose, branching web rather than a clear centre with defined edges.
Kerala's lowland landscape is shaped by water. Canals, backwater lagoons, ponds and low-lying paddy fields all sit close together, and roads weave between them on slightly higher ground. On paper the result is a pattern of curving lanes and scattered water bodies. The housing tucked beneath the coconut palms simply appears as quiet space.
A Kalleribhāgam map poster suits Malayali families who have moved to the Gulf, to Europe or elsewhere in India and want a view of home that is more personal than a photograph. It records the everyday roads and junctions that anyone from the place would recognise at once, set out in clean, calm lines.

Water and paddy
Canals, ponds and wet fields, typical of this low-lying coast, appear as irregular shapes woven between the lanes, giving the print soft, organic breaks.
Main road corridors
Busier roads carry most of the traffic along the coastal plain. They are drawn as slightly heavier lines that give the scattered settlement a clear backbone.

为什么选 Kalleribhāgam
一张有意义的地图
Home in Kerala is often a particular junction, a temple road or a family house under the palms, and this map puts that familiar geography on the wall. It makes a thoughtful gift for parents or for anyone living far from the state.
Personalise the title and subtitle, perhaps with a family house name, and edit the coordinates line. Choose from five styles (Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand), then download the HD files for $9 or order a matte printed poster.
