Volga waterfront
The reservoir runs the full length of the city, a wide calm surface that gives the poster a strong edge and a sense of scale.

关于地图
Kamyshin Map Poster & Print
Kamyshin stretches along the right bank of the Volga, where the river widens into the Volgograd Reservoir. From above, the city is a long band following the shoreline, with the water taking up the entire eastern side of the frame. The small Kamyshinka river enters from the west and divides the city into two parts, each with its own street grid.
Central districts follow a regular Russian provincial plan: straight streets, rectangular blocks and a riverside embankment. Farther out, Soviet housing estates and industrial zones form larger, coarser shapes, while the high bank above the Volga shows as a sharp edge. Gardens and steppe surround the town on its landward sides.
A Kamyshin map poster highlights the scale of the Volga against a medium-sized town. Kamyshin is known across Russia for its watermelons, which the town celebrates with an annual festival. The area also recalls an early, unfinished attempt under Peter the Great to link the Volga and the Don by canal, begun in this region.

Kamyshinka valley
The small river cuts through the city from the west and splits the urban fabric into northern and southern halves, easy to spot on the map.
Regular old grid
The historic centre keeps straight streets and rectangular blocks, contrasting with the looser Soviet estates on the outskirts.

为什么选 Kamyshin
一张有意义的地图
For people from the lower Volga, Kamyshin means summer, the wide river and watermelon season. A map of the town turns that memory into something to hang, with the river line alone making it recognisable.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line are yours to set, in Classic, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. HD files for $9 cover six print sizes, from 30×40 cm to 24×36 inches, without a watermark.
