Kodār Map Poster & Print
Kodār, often written Kodad, is a town in Suryapet district in southern Telangana, close to the border with Andhra Pradesh. It lies on the national highway between Hyderabad and Vijayawada, and from above the town clearly follows that road: a long commercial spine with dense neighbourhoods on either side and smaller streets branching into residential areas.
The surrounding countryside is mostly farmland, with paddy fields, irrigation channels and the traditional village tanks that store water across much of the Deccan. On the map these form a fine pattern of field boundaries and small water bodies, broken by rural roads leading to villages. The dense town stands out sharply against the open land around it.
