Compact town core
Short, closely spaced streets form a dense centre that prints as the darkest part of the poster, set against the open farmland that surrounds it.

关于地图
Kottur Map Poster & Print
Kottur lies in western Tamil Nadu, south of Pollachi, on the gently sloping plain that runs up to the Anaimalai Hills. The town itself is compact, a knot of streets gathered around its older core. Around it, the land opens into the regular blocks of coconut plantations and irrigated farmland that this corner of the state is known for.
On the map, the contrast between town and countryside is striking. Inside the town, streets are short and closely packed, with lanes branching off in several directions. Outside it, long field boundaries and irrigation channels draw straighter lines across the page. To the south the terrain begins to rise towards the hills, and the Aliyar reservoir sits not far away at their foot.
A Kottur map poster captures a place shaped by water and farming as much as by its streets. In black and white, the tight centre becomes a dark focal point surrounded by the lighter geometry of fields. The composition feels grounded and unhurried, much like the farming towns of the Pollachi region.

Irrigated countryside
Field boundaries and canals run in long, straight strokes around the town. They reflect the plantations and irrigated farming of the plain between Pollachi and the hills.
Towards the hills
South of town the land climbs towards the Anaimalai range, and the roads heading that way hint at the reservoirs and forested slopes beyond.

为什么选 Kottur
一张有意义的地图
This map is for people who know the drive between Pollachi and the hills, or who grew up among the coconut groves around Kottur. It gives a small hometown the same care usually reserved for major cities.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates, perhaps with a family name or a wedding date. Then pick one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. HD files cost $9, or you can order the poster printed and framed.
