关于地图
Lambayeque Map Poster & Print
Lambayeque is a city on the northern coast of Peru, just north of Chiclayo, on a desert plain crossed by irrigation from the rivers that come down from the Andes. The region was home to the Moche and Lambayeque cultures, and the city is known for its museums, especially the Royal Tombs of Sipán.
The city's centre follows a regular colonial grid around its main square, with straight streets and even blocks. Around it, irrigated fields form green patches in the dry coastal land, crossed by canals and roads. Chiclayo's urban area lies close to the south, and the Pacific coast is a short distance to the west.
A Lambayeque map poster shows that ordered grid set in an irrigated desert. The blocks are crisp and even, the canals draw fine lines through the fields, and the open land between the city and the sea leaves room around it. It is a clear, dignified map of an important historic city.

Irrigation canals
Channels fed by Andean rivers cross the coastal plain, thin lines that show how the farmland around the city is watered.
Toward Chiclayo
To the south the city meets the larger Chiclayo area, and a wider crop shows both cities together on the desert plain.
