Meeting roads
A few main roads converge on the town from different directions, and their junction forms the clear centre of an otherwise sparse map.

关于地图
Liwale Map Poster & Print
Liwale lies in the interior of the Lindi region in south-eastern Tanzania, well inland from the coast. It is a remote district town in a sparsely populated area of woodland and wildlife country. The large protected areas of southern Tanzania, including the Nyerere National Park formerly known as the Selous reserve, lie to the north.
On a map Liwale is small and easy to take in. A handful of main roads meet at the town, lined with homes and plots, and short lanes branch off between them. All around, the map is mostly open: miombo woodland, seasonal streams and long unpaved roads leading to distant villages.
A Liwale map poster is mostly quiet space with a small centre. It reads as a map of remoteness, the scale of the land against a modest town. It suits people from the district, and those who have worked or travelled in southern Tanzania and remember how far everything was.

Open woodland
Wide areas of woodland surround the town, and on paper they become broad white space that emphasises how small the settlement is.
Seasonal streams
Watercourses wind across the surrounding land, adding thin, curving lines that contrast with the straighter roads.

为什么选 Liwale
一张有意义的地图
A map of Liwale suits people who value quiet, open composition. It works as a minimal print and as a record of a place that few people outside Tanzania know. It is a thoughtful gift for anyone who calls the district home.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can all be personalised. The five styles, Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand, let you choose between stark contrast and softer tones.
