关于地图
Luena Map Poster & Print
Luena is the capital of Moxico province in eastern Angola, on a broad plateau covered by savanna and woodland. Moxico is Angola's largest province by area, and Luena is its main city. Known during the colonial period as Vila Luso, the city grew as a stop on the Benguela Railway, which crosses Angola from the Atlantic coast toward the eastern border.
From above, the older part of the city has a planned layout of wide streets and regular blocks, while newer districts extend outward in less formal patterns. The railway runs through the city in a long line, and an airport occupies a large open area. Beyond the urban edge, the plateau stretches out with few roads, broken by river valleys.
A Luena map poster shows a city defined by its railway and its open surroundings. The planned centre, the line of the tracks and the wide plateau beyond create a spacious composition, giving a clear picture of an inland Angolan city far from the coast.

Planned centre
The older core is laid out with broad streets and regular blocks, giving the centre an orderly pattern that contrasts with the looser districts further out.
Plateau surroundings
Beyond the city, the high plateau spreads in all directions with few roads, and this open space frames the urban area and emphasises its isolation.

为什么选 Luena
一张有意义的地图
Luena matters to people from Moxico and to Angolans who have travelled or worked in the east of the country. A map of the city captures the railway and streets of a place that remains central to the vast province around it.
Add a title in Portuguese or English, a subtitle and the coordinates line. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, with HD files for $9 in six print sizes, each as a PNG and a PDF.
