关于地图
Saurimo Map Poster & Print
Saurimo is the capital of Lunda Sul province in northeastern Angola, on the high, gently rolling plateau of the country's interior. From above, the city has a compact centre with a fairly regular street grid, surrounded by residential areas that spread outward along the main roads.
With no coastline and no major river through the centre, the map's shape comes mostly from its roads and from the transition between built-up and open land. Past the edges, the streets break up into tracks, scattered settlements and savanna, and some streams and wetter hollows cross the landscape.
The Lunda region is known for its diamond deposits, and Saurimo has grown as the administrative and commercial centre for this part of Angola. A Saurimo map poster shows an interior city with a clear core, long arterial roads and a soft edge where it meets the plateau.

Arterial roads
Main roads leave the city toward other towns in the Lunda region, stretching across the plateau as the strongest lines on the map.
Plateau edge
Around the outskirts, streets gradually give way to tracks and open savanna, which gives the print a soft, fading outline.
