关于地图
Lugoba Map Poster & Print
Lugoba is in Tanzania's Pwani Region, inland from the coast north of Dar es Salaam. It is a roadside town, and the map makes that clear right away: the settlement stretches along a main road, with buildings concentrated along both sides and smaller streets running a short way back before giving way to farmland and bush.
Towns like this grow because of the traffic passing through them. Shops, markets and services face the road, and homes spread out behind. Beyond them the land is lowland savanna and cultivated plots, crossed by footpaths and farm tracks that link outlying homesteads to the main road.
A Lugoba map poster has a strong linear composition. One main road runs through the frame, and the town's streets branch from it like the teeth of a comb. The rest is open country. It is a simple image, and for anyone who knows the town or has stopped there on the way along the road, very recognisable.
