关于地图
Mahalapye Map Poster & Print
Mahalapye is one of the larger settlements in Botswana's Central District, about halfway between Gaborone and Francistown. Its layout follows the country's main north–south corridor. The railway and the A1 highway run side by side through town, and neighbourhoods have grown out from these two lines into the surrounding bush.
A seasonal riverbed winds through the area. For much of the year it is dry, and on a map it appears as a soft, meandering line that crosses the straight transport routes. Around the centre, streets form loose grids and curving residential roads, which fade into tracks and open land as you move outward.
The town's name is commonly linked to the impala that once grazed here. A Mahalapye map poster captures a typical Botswana town: a firm spine of road and rail, a riverbed shaped by the seasons, and plenty of open space all around.

Seasonal riverbed
A winding riverbed, dry for much of the year, crosses the town and adds a natural curve to the straighter lines of streets and roads.
Open outskirts
Beyond the centre, neighbourhoods loosen into scattered plots and tracks, so the edges of the print have an airy, open feel.
