Compact core
The built-up area forms a small, dense cluster. This is typical of towns in the southern lowlands, where houses stand close together and lanes stay narrow.

关于地图
Makū Map Poster & Print
Makū is a small place in the south of Bushehr Province, in the part of Iran that faces the Persian Gulf. It shares its name with the far better-known Maku in the country's northwest, but the two have little else in common. This Makū belongs to the warm, arid southern lowlands, a region shaped by long summers and scarce rain.
Little has been written about the town itself, so its map is the best guide to its character. Settlements in this part of the province tend to be low-rise and compact, with flat-roofed houses on short, irregular lanes. Open ground surrounds them, and a few roads lead out across the plain toward neighbouring towns and nearby hills.
A Makū map poster suits anyone with a personal link to this corner of southern Iran. The sparse street network, the empty margins and the roads crossing them make a quiet, minimal print. The shape of the settlement stands out clearly against the land around it.

Roads across the plain
A handful of roads lead from the settlement into open country, linking it with neighbouring places. They are the strongest lines in the print.
Arid margins
Beyond the last houses, the map opens into dry plain and rising ground. The wide empty space around the town suits a minimal black-and-white design.

为什么选 Makū
一张有意义的地图
For families from southern Bushehr, including those who have moved to larger cities or abroad, a map of Makū is a simple, personal way to keep home in view. Small towns like this rarely appear on printed products, which makes the map all the more meaningful.
Change the title and subtitle to a family name, a year or a short dedication, and point the coordinates line to a particular house. Sand and Paper echo the colours of the landscape, and Classic black & white, Noir and Blueprint are also available.
