关于地图
Marutharōd Map Poster & Print
Marutharōd is a census town on the edge of Palakkad in central Kerala. It lies in the broad lowland around the Palakkad Gap, the major break in the Western Ghats between Kerala and Tamil Nadu. On a map it looks like much of suburban Kerala: housing strung along roads, with green paddy land and small lanes between the built strips.
The main highway toward Coimbatore runs through the area. It draws buildings and shops along its length and gives the map a strong axis. Away from it the pattern loosens into a mix of narrow roads, compounds and fields. A Marutharōd map poster brings out this layered, semi-rural texture rather than a tidy grid.
A wider view shows Marutharōd's place within Palakkad's growing outskirts, with the town centre nearby and the hills rising on either side of the gap. In monochrome the road network and the open agricultural spaces balance each other.

Paddy field gaps
Open stretches of agricultural land lie between housing clusters and give the poster a pattern of filled and empty spaces typical of the Palakkad plain.
Palakkad Gap setting
The town sits in the lowland corridor through the Western Ghats. A wider frame shows the hills on both sides of the pass.
