Main road spine
The main road through town is the strongest line on the poster. Most of the built-up area is gathered along it and around its junctions.

关于地图
Mim Map Poster & Print
Mim is a town in the Ahafo Region of western Ghana, in the moist forest zone where cocoa farming shapes both the economy and the landscape. On a map it appears as a compact settlement that grew up around a main road. Side streets branch out from it and gradually thin into farmland and bush.
The plan is practical rather than formal. Streets run in short sections, some roughly parallel and others bending with the ground, and the densest part of town sits where the routes meet. Beyond that core the lines become sparse. Here towns are islands in a wider green country of farms and forest.
A Mim map poster turns that pattern into a clean composition: a clear central spine, a cluster of blocks and the open space around them. For people from Mim and the surrounding villages, it keeps the shape of home on the wall, however far away they now live.

Compact core
Near the centre, short streets form a tighter mesh where markets, shops and homes cluster, which gives the whole map a clear focal point.
Edge of the forest
At the margins the street pattern fades into open space. It shows how quickly the town gives way to the farms and forest of the Ahafo countryside.

为什么选 Mim
一张有意义的地图
Families abroad and former residents often want something more personal than a photograph. A map of Mim shows the whole town at once, including the roads people walked every day, in a form that sits well in a modern home.
Personalise the title and subtitle with a family name or date, and keep or edit the coordinates line. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Then take the digital files for $9, or order a printed poster with or without a frame.
