Fine street pattern
Narrow residential lanes form a close, irregular mesh typical of Japanese suburbs, so at larger print sizes the map reads almost as a woven texture.

关于地图
Minawa Map Poster & Print
Minawa lies in central Kanagawa, in the band of towns between the Tokyo and Yokohama suburbs and the mountains to the west. Like much of the area it is heavily built up, and from above the map fills with small blocks, short lanes and houses set close together. Wider roads cut through this fine pattern at intervals, giving the eye a few firm lines to follow.
The landscape still shapes the plan. River terraces and gentle slopes break the street network into distinct pieces, and across the wider region rivers flow toward Sagami Bay in long, shallow curves. To the west the Tanzawa mountains rise above the plain. On a wide crop their ridges show up as a sudden absence of streets.
A Minawa map poster shows Japanese suburban texture at its most detailed: a dense field of tiny streets, broken by larger roads, school grounds and patches of green left between neighbourhoods. Because there is no single grand monument, the drawing itself becomes the subject, and that is part of its appeal.

Terraces and slopes
Changes in ground level split the neighbourhoods into separate pockets. You can see this where streets curve, stop short or bend to follow the terrain.
Mountain horizon
West of the built-up area the Tanzawa range brings the streets to an end. A wide crop shows the town against a large, quiet expanse of forested hills.

为什么选 Minawa
一张有意义的地图
For someone who lived in Minawa, even for a few years, the maze of lanes on the page brings back daily routes and familiar corners. A custom title and subtitle can mark a move, a first apartment or a birth, and the coordinates line can stay as it is or be edited.
The dense streets look especially striking in Noir or Blueprint. Paper and Sand give a softer, printed feel, and Classic black & white keeps things simple. Start with the free 900 px watermarked preview, then download all six HD sizes for $9 or order a framed or unframed matte print.
