关于地图
Mingguang Map Poster & Print
Mingguang lies in the far west of Yunnan province, in the mountainous country near the border with Myanmar. The area is high and deeply folded, with forested ridges, terraced slopes and narrow valleys. On a map, the settlement is a modest cluster of streets where the valley opens enough to build. Roads leave it by winding along contours and watercourses.
This corner of Yunnan sits in the wider Gaoligong mountain region, known for its forests and biodiversity, and for long-standing trade routes that once crossed toward Burma. The terrain decides almost everything about the local road pattern. There are no straight lines here for long, and each road bends with the ground it crosses.
A Mingguang map poster is a study in how a mountain place fits into its setting. The small centre sits at the heart of the composition, with fine lines tracing the routes that climb and fall around it. In print, it reads as calm and quietly intricate. It suits anyone who lived, travelled or worked in these highlands and wants a record that feels specific.

Contour-following roads
Roads leave town in long curves and switchbacks that trace the mountain slopes. They draw expressive, flowing lines across the paper.
Streams and slopes
Watercourses run down through the valley, and large unbuilt areas mark steep, forested ground. Together they give the design depth and a strong sense of terrain.
