关于地图
Mingshui Map Poster & Print
Mingshui is a county town in Heilongjiang, China's northernmost province, and lies within the Suihua region. It sits on the Songnen plain, a vast lowland of black soil that is among the country's major farming areas. From above, the land is almost perfectly flat, and the town is an island of streets in a wide sea of fields.
The street pattern is regular and practical. Wide roads divide the town into blocks, and the outer lanes join straight farm roads heading out across the plain. Winters here are long and severe, and the town's shape reflects a place built for work: compact, direct, and open to the land around it.
Few landscapes look as open on paper as this one. A Mingshui map poster puts that openness on the wall: a tidy county town in the middle of long field boundaries and straight rural roads, with plenty of space around the streets.

Farm road network
Straight rural roads run out from the town across the plain. They divide the black-soil farmland into long, even strips.
Open horizon
With no hills or large rivers nearby, the map around Mingshui stays open and calm, so the town's shape stands out clearly at its centre.
