关于地图
Montecristo Map Poster & Print
Montecristo lies in the Tyrrhenian Sea, south of Elba, as part of the Tuscan Archipelago. It is a small, roughly round island of granite, rising steeply from the sea to a high central summit. Its coastline is rocky and largely inaccessible, with Cala Maestra providing the only regular landing place.
The island is a strictly protected nature reserve, and visits are limited in number. Near the landing stands a former royal villa, and higher up lie the ruins of the monastery of San Mamiliano, the monk after whom the island is said to be named. Alexandre Dumas made Montecristo famous as the site of hidden treasure in The Count of Monte Cristo.
A Montecristo map poster is a quiet image of a nearly untouched island. With few paths and no roads to speak of, the rounded outline and the steep terrain it implies are the main subjects. It suits admirers of Dumas, walkers of the Tuscan islands, and anyone who values wild, protected places.

为什么选 Montecristo
一张有意义的地图
Montecristo is known to many through literature and to far fewer in person, which gives its map an air of rarity. The strong, rounded shape makes a clean, balanced print for a study or living room.
Personalise the title with a line from Dumas or a date of your own, and pick Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. HD files come as 300 DPI PNG and print-ready PDF in six sizes.
