The Terek River
The river loops along the town's edge through a broad, wooded floodplain, with old meanders and side channels adding soft curves to the otherwise straight-lined map.

关于地图
Mozdok Map Poster & Print
Mozdok stands on the left bank of the Terek River in the north of North Ossetia–Alania, where the land has already flattened into steppe. The map shows a town of wide, mostly regular blocks, with long straight streets running across level ground and the river curving along one side.
The Terek here is a meandering lowland river, its course marked by old channels, oxbows and wooded banks that contrast with the geometric town. Beyond the edges, fields are divided into large rectangles, and roads run out straight towards neighbouring settlements. The whole composition feels open and horizontal, with little to interrupt the grid.
Mozdok began in the eighteenth century as a fortress on the frontier of the Russian Empire, and the town long served as a crossroads for different communities of the North Caucasus. A Mozdok map poster captures that frontier geography: a planned settlement on a river line, looking south towards the mountains that do not appear on the sheet.

Steppe grid
Long parallel streets and wide blocks cover the town's flat site, giving Mozdok a clear, orderly street plan readable at a glance.
Open fields
Beyond the town, large rectangular fields and straight country roads extend across the plain, framing the settlement in a quiet agricultural pattern.

为什么选 Mozdok
一张有意义的地图
Mozdok is a place many people have passed through or served in, and for them this map is a memory as much as a picture. For locals it shows the familiar grid and river bend in a clean, readable form.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line with a name, unit or date, and choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Classic black & white keeps the grid and river crisp.
