Storehouse street
The old merchant street runs through the centre, lined with kura storehouses. On the map it is the densest, most tightly packed part of town.

关于地图
Murata Map Poster & Print
Murata is a town in Miyagi Prefecture, south of Sendai. It sits in a small basin surrounded by low, wooded hills. The historic centre is compact, laid out along an old commercial street. Rice paddies spread across the valley floor, and the Tohoku Expressway passes by on the edge, a clean modern line cutting across the older pattern.
The town's history as a merchant centre is still visible in its preserved kura, the thick-walled storehouses that line the main street. They are a reminder of Murata's role in the historic trade of safflower, which was used for red dye. In the surrounding hills lies Sportsland SUGO, a motorsport circuit whose track appears on the map.
A Murata map poster brings these layers together: the narrow traditional core, the paddies, the expressway, and the looping track in the hills. Each element has a very different line quality, and together they make a quietly complex composition.

Sportsland SUGO
The racing circuit's winding track in the hills is an unusual shape. It adds a looping line that stands out clearly against the woodland.
Valley paddies
Flat rice fields surround the town. Their straight field edges and farm roads create a fine grid on the valley floor.

为什么选 Murata
一张有意义的地图
Murata attracts two very different groups: people drawn to its storehouse streets, and motorsport fans who know it from SUGO. A map poster serves both, whether it marks a weekend at the track or a family's long connection to the town.
Set your own title and subtitle, such as a race date, a family name or a place in Japanese, and edit the coordinates line. Then choose one of five styles. Digital files cost $9 in six sizes, and a watermarked 900 px preview is free.
