Highway spine
The main road toward Garissa runs straight through town, and the commercial centre lines up along it, giving the map a clear central axis.

关于地图
Mwingi Map Poster & Print
Mwingi is a town in Kitui County in eastern Kenya, in the semi-arid country east of Nairobi. It lies on the main road toward Garissa, and much of its layout grows from that route: a line of commercial plots along the highway, with residential areas and smaller roads branching away on either side.
From above, the town reads as a modest cluster of streets and plots set against wide, open land. Seasonal streams and dry riverbeds cross the surrounding country, and rural homesteads are scattered in the bush, connected by thin paths and murram tracks that fade into the landscape.
A Mwingi map poster presents that structure clearly: the highway as a strong spine, the town gathered around it, and a lightly drawn, expansive landscape beyond. It is a spare, calm composition that reflects the scale of eastern Kenya and the importance of the road that runs through it.

Branching streets
Smaller roads lead off the highway into residential areas, forming a loose pattern of blocks that thins quickly toward the town's edges.
Open dry country
Around the town, sparse tracks and seasonal watercourses cross semi-arid land, leaving wide pale space that frames the settlement on the page.
