Narrow lanes fork again and again to reach homes set among trees, drawing a fine, net-like texture across the whole poster.

关于地图
Naduvattam Map Poster & Print
Naduvattam is in central Kerala, in the low, green country near the boundary of Malappuram and Palakkad districts. Like many places in Kerala, it does not have a sharp edge between town and countryside. Houses sit along roads and lanes in a continuous, loose pattern, surrounded by coconut palms, gardens and paddy fields.
From above, this gives a map full of small, branching lines. Roads curve and fork to follow the gentle rise and fall of the land, and lanes lead off to homes set in their own plots. The Bharathapuzha, Kerala's long river, flows not far to the south, and small streams and ponds appear across the area.
A Naduvattam map poster shows this very Keralan pattern of settlement: dense but not crowded, organic rather than planned. It is a map for people who know the place from daily life, the route to school or the temple, the road to a relative's house, the walk home at dusk.

Winding main roads
The principal roads curve with the land rather than running straight, giving the composition soft lines that link the settlement to nearby towns.
Water and fields
Streams, ponds and open paddy land appear as lighter areas and thin lines, reflecting the wet, fertile landscape of central Kerala.

为什么选 Naduvattam
一张有意义的地图
Many Keralites live and work far from home, in other Indian cities or in the Gulf. A map of Naduvattam is a way to keep the lanes of home in view, and it makes a warm gift for family.
Personalise the title and subtitle with a house name, a family name, a date or a line in Malayalam, and edit the coordinates line. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand to suit your room.
