Nedumpana Map Poster & Print
Nedumpana is a village panchayat in Kollam district, in southern Kerala, a short distance inland from the coast. Like much of the Kerala midland, it has no single dense centre: houses are spread along roads and lanes among coconut palms, gardens and small fields. On a map this appears as a fine, branching network of routes rather than a compact town, with settlement following nearly every road.
The terrain is gently rolling, with slightly higher ground separated by low-lying strips that hold paddy land, ponds and small streams. That alternation guides where roads run and where homes cluster. The larger town of Kollam, with its backwaters and harbour, lies to the west, and many residents look to it for work and services.
