Forested hills
A range of wooded hills rises west of town. Few roads cross it, so it forms a wide, quiet area on the map.

关于地图
Nilagiri Map Poster & Print
Nilagiri is a town in Balasore district in northern Odisha. It sits where the flat coastal plain meets a line of forested hills to the west. Until 1948 it was the capital of Nilgiri State, one of the princely states of Odisha, and the town grew up around its royal seat.
On the map, the hills form a dark, empty band along one side, with only a few roads threading into them. The town spreads out on the lower ground, and roads and field boundaries continue east toward the Bay of Bengal coast.
A Nilagiri map poster captures that meeting of hill and plain in a single frame. The compact town, the forested slopes and the open farmland give the composition a natural structure, with the town at the hinge between two very different landscapes.

为什么选 Nilagiri
一张有意义的地图
Nilagiri's position between hills and plain makes it an unusually clear map for a small town. It is a meaningful piece for anyone with family ties to northern Odisha.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates, for example with a family name and a year. Noir brings out the contrast between the hills and the town, while Sand feels warm and earthy.
