Hooghly riverfront
The broad, tidal Hooghly runs along the town's river side. Its gentle curve is the strongest line on the map and leaves a wide open space beside the streets.

关于地图
Uluberiya Map Poster & Print
Uluberiya lies in Howrah district, southwest of Kolkata, on the western bank of the Hooghly River. From above, the town follows the river in a long, narrow band. Older neighbourhoods and ghats sit close to the water. Further inland the railway line and the national highway run roughly alongside, and new housing and fields fill the space in between.
The town is a municipality and the headquarters of a subdivision of Howrah district. The suburban railway line towards Kharagpur connects it to Kolkata. The land around it is flat, green delta country of ponds, paddy fields and small villages. Here the Hooghly is broad and tidal, and on its far bank the land runs south towards the Sundarbans and the Bay of Bengal.
An Uluberiya map poster shows how closely the town is tied to its river. The Hooghly fills a wide, calm stretch of the frame, and the streets, rail tracks and highway draw near-parallel lines beside it. Scattered ponds appear as small rounded shapes. This detail is typical of Bengal's towns and gives the map its own quiet character.

Rail and highway
The suburban railway and the national highway run inland from the river and carry traffic towards Kolkata and Kharagpur. They frame the town in long, near-parallel strokes.
Ponds and paddy
Around the built-up area, dozens of village ponds and field boundaries create a fine, scattered pattern that is typical of the lower Bengal delta.

为什么选 Uluberiya
一张有意义的地图
Many people from Uluberiya commute to Kolkata or have family across Bengal and beyond. A map of the town, with its river and railway, is a simple way to keep a sense of home on the wall. It can also mark a wedding or a new house there.
You can change the title, subtitle and coordinates line, so the poster can carry a family name, a neighbourhood or a date. Choose one of five styles, from Classic black & white to Sand, and print it locally from the 300 DPI files.
